At ProDryers, all of our Xlerator hand dryers are factory installed with the 1.1 noise reduction nozzle. We made this move many years ago when the 1.1 noise reduction nozzle was introduced. Why? Out of hundreds of Xlerator hand dryers sold per month, the only complaint we have ever had is the noise. Once we switched to the 1.1 noise reduction nozzle, we have never had anything but happy customers. The 1.1 noise reduction nozzle can reduce the dB rating of the Xlerator hand dryer by up to 10 decibels. It will take maybe a second longer to dry hands which is hardly noticeable and well worth the noise reduction.
