ASI 8026-4824 Frameless Stainless Steel Mirror
This surface-mounted mirror uses 20-gauge Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel polished to a #8 mirror finish, with a 1/4-inch return and concealed tempered hardboard backing. The manufacturer lists the 8026-4824 size as 47-1/2 x 23-1/2 inches, with a +0/-1/2-inch tolerance on nominal dimensions of 48 x 24 inches. Mounting holes are provided.
Stainless steel mirror reflections are not as true as plate glass. The manufacturer does not recommend mirrors of this type larger than 48 inches wide x 24 inches high because image distortion increases with size. Surface-mount through the provided holes; the installer must supply screws suited to field conditions.
