ASI 0692-624 Stainless Steel Shelf, 6 x 24 Inch
This surface-mounted shelf measures 6 inches deep by 24 inches long. It is fabricated from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish and a hemmed front edge.
Mounting and placement
Mount through the support-bracket holes with #10 self-threading screws or other appropriate fasteners; fasteners are by others. Provide adequate in-wall blocking or other reinforcement for the shelf and its intended loading. ASI describes the shelf as suitable for wet, self-contained or dry materials storage but does not state a load rating.
ASI gives 32 to 48 inches above the finished floor as installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, and 42 inches above the finished floor or 18 inches above a washbasin as typical general-utility placement. Verify project requirements.
